What happens if my ring is lost or stolen?

If lost or stolen, simply open the ESOS app, select “Disable” and the ring will be turned off for payments. ESOS rings also have a 24/7 telephone customer service line and our team can disable your device. Our toll-free customer service number is 1 (844) 923-1667.

Can't someone come by with a RFID / NFC reader and skim my information stolen?

An NFC scanner cannot read any personally identifiable information off the ring and they have been certified with the same bank-level security as credit cards – in fact, if you lose your ESOS, simply log into the app and disable it.

Is any of my personal information stored on the actual ring?

No, the Ring does not contain your name, address, or other identifying information. if the Ring is lost or stolen, you can disable the device right here in the App and no one can trace the ring back to you if they find it.   ESOS rings also have a 24/7 telephone customer service line and our team can disable your device. Our toll-free customer service number is 1 (844) 923-1667.

How do I add other features to my ring?

Please go to our Ring App Store for non-payment related features.

Is there a warranty?

Yes. All of our rings can be exchanged or returned for any reason within 30 days of being received.

How do I return / exchange my ring?

Contact warranty@esosrings.com within 30 days of receiving the ring, and we’ll send you a pre-paid label to send back your device.

Can I have more than one ring?

Yes. You can purchase more than 1 Ring, however, each Ring requires a dedicated cell phone number associated with the Ring account.

Do these rings only work when connected to wifi?

No. The rings do not require Wifi, Bluetooth, or your cell phone to operate.

What is the ring made of?

ESOS Rings’ exteriors are made of hypoallergenic medical-grade ceramic/plastic composites that are non-porous, anti-viral, anti-bacterial, and waterproof. You can use as much hand sanitizer as you want or go swimming, surfing, or take a shower and these Rings will hold up.

Is there a battery / Does the ring need to be charged?

ESOS Rings use no cords, and require no charging! In fact, the ring receives a slight charge every time you use it to make a payment – it actually draws a small amount of power from the POS terminal. However, it never runs out of power, like a battery device.

Financial / Non-Financial Use

Are there any charges associated with the use of ESOS Rings?

There is absolutely no additional charge when making a purchase with your ESOS Ring. In fact, there are hundreds of other applications for ESOS Rings technology apart from payments (most of which are free, some have a one-time download fee of $0.99 – $1.99)

Do I need a credit check to get approved for ESOS?

No, ESOS Rings do not require a credit check. However, we have a highly secure product and we will ask you to complete a mandatory identity confirmation before activating a device.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR OPENING A NEW CARD ACCOUNT: To help the federal government combat activities related to terrorist financing and money laundering, federal law requires all financial institutions and their third parties to obtain, verify and record all information that identifies each person who opens a Card Account. What this means for you: when you open a card account, we will ask for your name, address, Date of Birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver’s license or other identifying documents. 

Can I still use the ring for other uses besides payment-related?

Yes, ESOS Rings can be set to open phones, computers, doors, mobile gaming, and transit/event ticketing, just to name a few non-financial related uses!
